Hours after fainting, Renee lay in bed thinking about Kayron’s sudden death and how this could’ve happened? They had just shared the most memorable birthday of her life. She loved Kayron so much and even though what they shared was wrong, she still stayed committed to their four year relationship. Renee replayed Sabrina’s words in her mind and every time she did, it pained her that much more. She was so far gone in her thoughts, she didn’t hear Sabrina knock and enter into her bedroom carrying a tray with a cup of hot tea and a banana nut muffin.

“I know you don’t have much of an appetite but at least try to eat this snack so you won’t get sick, okay. She sat the tray on Renee’s dresser taking notice of Bradsen’s business card. I’ll come back later to check on you.”

All Renee could do was nod her head as Sabrina closed the door behind her. She had so many pent-up emotions she wanted to express without verbally talking about it but didn’t know how? Suddenly, she reached for a Kleenex to wipe her eyes. She forced her body out of bed to retrieve the gift bag Sabrina had given her with the emerald green journal. On the first page there was a quote that read: Think about It ~ Write It ~ Read it ~ Move on From It. Renee would begin the healing process by writing down her thoughts:
